The next page will prompt you for your database information. Your hosting service provides this information to you. You will be prompted to enter the following:
- DB Host (Default is "localhost". Normally you won't need to change this)
- DB User Name (The user name you need to access the database)
- DB Password (Password for the above user name)
- DB Name (Name of the database. You may not have a choice here)
- Table Prefix (Default is "mpn_").
Please take extra care in entering this information. Unless told otherwise by your ISP, leave the DB Host field as "localhost" as this is the default host for MySQL. Choosing a table prefix allows you to host several different MySQL based applications within one database as well as helping to organizing a complex database. In most cases, the default will suffice.
After you have entered your information please double-check it for accuracy, then click on "submit".
